It was a true honour and pleasure to help moderate both the Hospitality Masterclass and the Hospitality Marketing Seminar at the recent MTE HCMC 2025. Thank you to Mauro Gasparotti Nhung Pham and Uyen Nguyen, CFA ,and all their colleagues, for an outstanding event and to all who participated - especially in the sessions I looked after - too many to tag in one post but you know who you are. A big personal note of appreciation to Megan Ly (lefties rule!) for co-hosting the marketing seminar with me and to John Gardner for stepping into help with one of the panels at the last moment. And of course, to all the sponsors and supporters who made it happen, especially Duetto Shiji Group and FutureLog AG. Some key points to discuss in the coming months: sustainability - actions not words, look outside your website - GEO not SEO, remember the domestic traveller, make personalisation work properly and stop saying you are "redefining hospitality" unless you really have something to show. And all of this comes from my heart and wasn't written by AI :)
